I normally would like to be writing about a wonderful ship, fun itinerary or a land excursion, but that will come soon. Today though, I am going to toot my own horn.

I have been obsessing over cruises. It started simple, just helping my loved ones plan a cruise and wanting to learn everything about that cruise line, to wanting to learn about every cruise line and how they compare and differ. I had no idea how many types of cruises and ships there are. There is literally something for everyone!

There once was a time that when I imagined a cruise, I thought of an overcrowded ship going to an uncomfortably hot sandy destination. For an introvert, that was not appealing at all, nor did it sound like a relaxing getaway. I wanted to see the world, not a waterpark on top of an ocean. Although, that may be some people's ideal vacation, it did not appeal to me. I thought exploring the world meant flying, motels, car rentals, trains, shuttles, etc. And while that all sounds great, I discovered that cruises are the best way to explore multiple destinations with the upmost of ease!

My Viking cruise introduced me to destination focused cruising, and led me, as a travel advisor, to study their cruise academy and graduate their course, becoming a Viking Expert! Brag number one. By becoming an expert, it also allowed me to have a cobranded website for all of their cruise options: Ocean, River, and Expedition! Each type of cruise is so different and so fun!

Many cruise lines offer different sailing types like Viking, but each ship also offers completely different atmospheres. Some are geared for the adventurer, some are fantastic family ships, some are luxury adult only cruises, some focus on the destination and others are more about the experience onboard. With so many types of vacationers out there, I wanted to learn more about what each cruise line had to offer. I wanted to be able to recommend the products that would suit my client's needs and give them the dream vacation they imagined. So, I studied, and I still haven't stopped!

If you are interested in more information about cruises, call me to chat. There is no pressure, no sales strategy, just information and a free service if you do decide to book a cruise. The best part about my service, I can get you extra added values to your vacations. On cruise ships, a lot of times, I can get you onboard credit, lower rates, or other perks that you cannot get without using a travel advisor.

And to show you my dedication, I have listed my certifications and qualifications below. Big brag number 2! My Princess and Cunard Certifications are not showing, but I am a Commodore level in each of those lines. I have also obtained membership with CLIA, so stay tuned for news about that soon! I hope to see you making waves soon!
