Our Mascot

Our Otter mascot, Emmit D Otter, is in honor of our son that was tragically killed in an accident cause by an impaired driver in March 2026.

Michael was a dynamic and talented individual. He loved to make people laugh and he embraced life to the fullest. His personality type was an otter, fun loving and energetic. He is deeply loved and painfully missed.

Emmit D also honors David, Michael's dear brother, that passed 10 years earlier. David was a gentle light and an empathetic soul.

Losing two children is devastating. We hope that as we advertise and travel with Emmit D Otter, we can bring awareness to not only substance abuse, but to suicide prevention as well.
